MAN CREATED GOD NOT GOD CREATED MAN.

In fact, at first man created many gods but it seems it made more sense for the catholic church to settle for one following Jewish Tradition. But the fact remains. It is man that created God not the other way around.

WHAT CAN RELIGIOUS PEOPLE DO THAT ATHEISTS CAN'T?

An Atheist:
can give money to charity

can volunteer to help people

can accept anyone for who they are

does not live with the fear of hell

do good deeds not because they're trying to please a god, but because they know that it is good to do good deeds.

Can let their children be free thinkers and decide their religion or let them not to choose any religion.

Can enjoy life, can be creative, can dream, can imagine, can write a song, a poem, can have success in life, etc..

Knows that natural stuff that are yet unknown (such as the universe) are yet unknown. They do not fill the empty spaces with god.

Can have wild kinky sex without saying "it is a sin"

know that they aren't born in sin.

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE

An Atheist:

Can murder a person, but cannot blame god or the devil for doings so.

Cannot declare holy wars.

Cannot get out of tough ethical situations by crediting a god or the devil.

Cannot torture or kill someone with the excuse of some archaic text (ex: Bible). (or holy Inquisition)

ATHEIST VS THEIST (Religious Person)

If an atheist kills someone, he knows it will rest on his conscience for the rest of his life. (Not go to confession to feel good about it and that's it)

If an Atheist does something bad to someone else, he can only receive forgiveness from that person only, not the forgiveness of god.

A Religious person can let his Children die because they refuse to get their medical treatment and rely on "faith healing."

A Religious person can blow himself up and kill innocent people with him because he thinks that he's serving a god and that he is going to heaven.

A Religious person thinks that he's helping by wasting time on Prayers.

For women, atheism is something to be free. They are treated equally like any other man.
For women, religion discriminates them. Example if an Arabic woman gets raped, she will get all the fault (get arrested or worse, killed) even if other people know that she is innocent.

An Atheist can study Evolution, science, can watch all the type of movies he wants and read Harry Potter without the fear that he’s not pleasing a God.

Still think That Religious people are better than Atheists?

An Atheist:

Loves people, animals and nature instead of a God.

Believes that heaven is something we people should work on to make earth a better place.

Believes he can get no help through prayer but must find his inner strength to meet with life and grapple with it and enjoy it till his last moment.

Believes that only in his knowledge and others knowledge must find his understanding of life.

Seeks to know more himself and others instead of knowing a god.

Believes that a hospital should be built instead of a church.

Believes that money should be used to help others not for priests to have better cars, churches to have more gold.

Believes that if you can't serve to masters (God or money) you don't say, I choose God and be exceedingly wealthy and open a bank (like APS bank).

Believes that if the church is against contraceptives, it should not be a share holder with durex.

Believes that a deed must be done instead of wasting time on a prayer.

Strives for involvement in life instead of running towards death.

Wants desease conquered, poverty vanquished, cruelty against people and other living things gone, war eliminated instead of being egocentric for their Religion.

Wants a good peaceful life instead of relying on a god and hoping troubles will end in the afterlife.

Believes that we are keepers of our life and responsible for every action we do. Instead of sacrificing and dementing our lives for a god who doesn't exist.
