Daniel Grech, aka d-Style, was born on the 21st November 1985 in Malta. In his early teen years, he started to show interest in dance music and, to a greater extent, in the art of DJing. The dream of becoming a DJ was nowhere as being forgotten. He decided to start DJing lessons at the Genetix DJing School in his hometown. Mastering the basic concepts under then No.1 Techno DJ in Malta JD Frank, d-Style finished successfully the Basic and Advanced courses offered by Gentix.
After attending to these DJ courses, d-Style interest in DJing grew stronger. He bought a mixer and a pair of turntables on which he practiced and trained at home.
Varying his style from Techno to Progressive and Electro House, d-Style has enjoyed playing alongside and warming-up for all of Malta`s top DJs, namely JJOY, DJ Ruby, Miss Roberta, Carl Bee, DJ Ryan, Clay C, Tenishia, Nheaven, Joseph Armani and more and played alongside foreign artists such as Yvan & Daniels, 4 Strings , Ernesto vs Bastian , Richard Durand, Sander Van Doorn ,Aly & Fila, Audrey Gallagher , Eric Lumiere , Lee Thomas , Elles De Graaf , Andrea Britton.
His style is is now more based on Trance Music varying from melodic and vocal trance to electronic trance. Playing in nearly all clubs around Malta, d-Style also started hosting his own events named Friends of Style.
d-Style's passion and dedication has been awarding in that he had the honour of hosting events being headlined by world known DJs. His breakthrough was when he warmed up for Electro House deejay Thomas Gold.
Later on d-Style had the satisfaction of hosting a Friends of Style event headlined by a key figure for the Trance Community. This time d-Style warmed-up for no less then John O Callaghan.
In 2009 there will be more to be seen from d-Style as he will host another Friends of Style event, this time headlined by the legendary duo Cosmic Gate.he will also warm up the superstar german boys.
Also in 2009 he played including vocalists Denise Rivera & Chris Jones in his set!!
